FotoMorph is a photo morphing or face animation tool. It can be used to create animations between two objects. If you have ever seen an image of a person that then becomes an image of another person, well, that is called morphing. This application gives you a very complete set of features to create good-looking, smooth morphs.
The application's interface is divided into tabs. Each tab serves a very specific purpose. For example, the first tab is Projects. There, you can start a new project or look at one of the included sample projects to see how the application works. Morphing is done by inserting two pictures and telling the application what to do to get from the first one to the second. If we take for example the first sample, you can see that the first step is to zoom the picture of Britney Spears so that her face seemed bigger on the screen. The next step is transforming her into Mona Lisa. After that, the user adds a horizontal inversion of the picture and it seems that Mona Lisa is moving. The next tab allows you to set the images to be used and edited. The editor, albeit, basic does allow some interesting changes. The remaining tabs have to do with the animation between picture 1 and picture 2.
Although it is not precisely the easiest application to use, FotoMorph is a free solution that has a lot of depth and allows for the creation of very interesting and original photographic morphs. There is help and samples included, which makes it relatively easy to learn how the application works.
With Morpheus Photo Animation Suite you can make powerful morphing animations.
